The SockBot NFT Collection

Every SockBot is outfitted and ready for war as he searches for his long-lost creator.
We decided to create SockBot not only to put a friendly face on the SockHodler brand, but also to use this as an opportunity for creative expression outside of our typical sock designs.
As time goes on, we will be expanding on SockBot's story and use every opportunity to integrate him into our physical products as well as making him an integral part of how our dApp "The SockVault" operates.
The SockBot Collection is complete with 175+ 3D traits. SockHodler's very own @wxcocoxw and @tiomeko created all the 3D assets. The original SockBot body was created by @wxcocoxw.
The 3D modeling was done in Cinema 4D and Blender (@tiomeko is a blender fan). The texturing was completed in Cinema 4D and Substance Painter and uses custom materials, substance materials, and homemade textures.
The sneakers and boots traits were 3D scanned using Photogrammetry via a Fuji XH-1 Mirrorless Camera, Fuji XF Glass, and 2x Aputure c300d LED fresnel lights. All of the images were stitched together in RealityCapture to produce a raw mesh. The meshes were then cleaned up in Zbrush and retopologized for rendering in C4D Redshift.
To composite the 3D scene but still preserve some cohesiveness between all the different traits, we rendered out reflections and shadows so that they may cast on the underlying objects. All of the image refinements were done in Adobe After Effects.
These NFT's were assembled using Jon Becker's generative NFT script. All of the NFT's were then batch minted using AlgoKittens' tried and true algoNFTs scripts.
SockBot is brought to you by your friends at SockHodler.
